HUNTINGDON, PA--Allergy Orchard, a Lancaster-based allergy-friendly retailer, and AssureTech, a startup from Huntingdon, Pa. that is developing software and technology for people with severe allergies, are joining forces to deliver a one-stop digital outlet for a number of food allergy-related products. The store will also offer exclusive discounts to premium membership holders. Premium memberships will be available at a 50% discount until the Store's official launch on Nov. 1.
The combined digital store will feature the products that can be found in Allergy Orchard's brick-and-mortar location in Lancaster, Pa. The digital presence will be hosted by AssureTech, who will also make the products accessible through their mobile application.
Online customers will have access to medical alert gear and a number of allergy-friendly foods, free of peanuts, tree nuts, wheat, shellfish, fish, soy, egg, dairy and other allergens. Allergy Orchard includes products manufactured by brands like Enjoy Life, 88 Acres, Kiss Freely, Allerbands and others.
The store will also have a premium membership program that grants access to exclusive, member-only deals on the different products listed in the store. Memberships are currently available at a 50% discount (that can be locked in for life), and will be offered until Nov. 1. Regular memberships will be available at monthly and annual rates following the Store's launch.
The Store will also feature a special rate available for anyone involved in education. This special pricing option reflects the two teams' belief that all classrooms should have access to allergy-friendly options.

Karen DiPace and Tammy Gingras-Moore founded Allergy Orchard because they wanted to create a better way for families affected by food allergies to find safe-to-eat food. Joey DiGangi, the owner of AssureTech, is a lifelong food allergy sufferer that started designing software and technology solutions for the medical community. The trio decided to create the online Allergy Store following an event they co-hosted that talked about up-and-coming technology in the food allergy industry.
